"Happy new year and studying"- doesn't this greeting sound a bit absurd?? Maybe yes, but definitely not for for us, VTU-ians...

Today is the first day of 2010.. I had been thinking about blogging since many months, so wondered which can be the best time than the first day of a new year to begin with, the year in which i hopefully will be done with B.arch...All these years i haven't celebrated new year's eve with a bang, as in haven't welcomed any new year by partying..Its not because the next day incidentally turns out to be our examination day, and also not because i won't get permission at home and definitely not coz i can't surreptitiously get out of the house at midnight..Its just that I'm not interested people!!! Not interested to go out and see others go mad on the dance floor after a few tequila shots or see people screaming on the street as soon as they notice that they are coming on TV live, when i can easily sit at home peacefully watching Sharukh Khan or Priyanka chopra dancing for me :D...

I know i am a bit boring by nature and i can't help much about it but what about those poor Engineering students? What have they done wrong?coz they can't afford to go out and party with their gfs or bfs and have to sit at home surrounded by a dozen of text books and xerox notes laughing at their helpless state...I haven't and will never figure out why VTU always keeps an exam on 1st Jan..Is it because they like to be cursed the whole year or are they just jealous of student's freedom and enjoyment, and can't see them revel???
